Whats New at Tassie Tiger Knives (New Aussie Knife)

Hi all, welcome to another update on what’s going on at TTK.

It has been a while since our last update, and if you follow us on our social media pages you will notice you don’t get bombarded with posts, we are not sure if this is a good or a bad thing for us.

Anyway here is what’s been going on and also what is coming up.

You can now find TTK brand in over 180 stores across Australia, New Zealand and USA, so you should be able to find us somewhere in your area. We have worked hard to offer quality knives at an affordable price, and we know now more than ever with the cost of living how important this is to consumers, it’s been a hard slog to keep our prices down with the cost of manufacturing and shipping going through the roof. But we will endeavour to keep our prices affordable and also just as important keep the quality to our high standards.

So whats coming up? you may remember if you follow us on Facebook that we asked what sort of knife you our buyers would like to see next in our Aussie made range, well the biggest response we got was a general purpose bushcraft knife with a slightly longer blade than our “Tassie Devil Skinner” something that is right at home in the Aussie Bush either for the weekend camper, or something more demanding like hunting, skinning and field prepping larger game. We already have our USA made survival knife that can take a huge beating, so we didn’t want to go down that road again, and in all reality most people don’t use their knife for cutting down a redgum tree and making a log cabin out of it!

We researched long and hard on what type of steel to use. Deciding not to cerakote the blade we needed something that could handle our harsh diverse conditions, so we’ve settled on Nitro V, an American made steel perfect for this type of knife application.

Keep an eye out for this one coming before Christmas if everything falls into place.

We are also currently working on a few more folders that should be in our range in the coming months, we will have a Tanto folder, and a smaller drop point pocket knife that will be a perfect EDC that slips in the pocket easily.

We’re also working on another idea that will expand our international range of knives, but you will have to wait for the next update for more info on that one.

So make sure you follow us on Facebook to keep up to date with what’s going on, and if you have a design suggestion for our range please shoot us off a message anytime info@tassietigerknives.com.au

Thanks for reading and get out and enjoy the great outdoors!
